Little Giant Double Wall Metal Poultry Fount is a heavy duty stand alone waterer ideal for chickens, turkeys, other poultry, and game birds. This fount is fabricated out of heavy-gauge galvanized steel with rolled edges for protection. It has a double-wall which features an inner tube with a heavily built arched handle for transporting or carrying the filled fount and an outer tube with its dedicated handle for convenience. This product also features a locking pin to grip the outer tube in place while the angled top prevents roosting. A copper spring and neoprene seal is created whenever the outer tube is inserted over the inner tube which maintains a constant level in the drinking pan. All seams are tested to prevent leaks or dribbles. One of the key advantages of metal founts is the ability to use the fount during winter with a heater base (sold separately).
