The 3M Tegaderm CHG IV Securement Dressing is an integrated IV dressing that combines antimicrobial protection, site visibility, catheter securement and breathability The antimicrobial protection is afforded through a chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) gel pad The catheters are secured with a large securement tape strip and a conforming keyhole notch The transparent film and gel pad enable continuous site visibility which aids in the early assessment of infections on the insertion site The film is breathableIndicated Applications include securing of: Short peripheral IV and midline venous catheters Central venous catheters subclavian, jugular, femoral, and PICCs) Dialysis catheters Epidural Catheters Assorted percutaneous devices The dressing is available in the size 8.5cm * 11.5cm and comes in a standard packing of 25 dressings per box
